Create a Lasting Legacy in Mount Washington

One of the joys of living in Mount Washington is the view.  In what other neighborhood can you wake up, look out your window and enjoy a tree canopy that is over two hundred years old?  In what other neighborhood can you walk your children to school and appreciate beautifully landscaped playgrounds with rain gardens, native learning gardens, vegetable gardens, and prairie hillside?  In what other neighborhood can you drive to work and see forty public gardens created and maintained by your neighbors?  And where else in Baltimore can you exchange vows in what was once an apartment complex swept away in a hurricane and abandoned, and now is a nationally recognized arboretum?

The Mount Washington Preservation Trust's mission, since its inception in 1989, has been to maintain and keep alive this sylvan respite in the city, and you play an essential role as a partner.

The Trust continues its mission - maintaining our public gardens and arboretum, planting new gardens, and adding to our land trust of over twenty-five acres of preserved and protected land in Mount Washington. By making a tax-deductible contribution to the Mount Washington Preservation Trust, you will be preserving what makes Mount Washington a special place for future generations.
