Arboretum Master Plan
Plan in Portion for
the Arboretum
The Arboretum Strategic Plan was debuted on 11/9/24, revised and unveiled on 12/12/2024. Thanks to our Communmity members for your feedback! You joined us at the Mt. Washington Arboretum in November, and the Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in December to review and provide useful feedback.
We are privileged to steward the practical earthen grounds as well as the the literal grounds we think and feel. We have taken care to listen to our community and identify the thoughtful seeds of desire. We are preparing to plant those seeds of intention into action.
The Arboretum Strategic plan design is for the public property located at Lochlea and Kelly Avenue along the Western Run stream. EnviroCollab, LLC, shared two original plans on November 9th at the Arboretum during a public event with the MWIA. Community members, neighbors, and friends gathered to connect and discuss sustainable design possibilities. The updated plans were shared with our community on December 12th at the Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital.
Your voice matters, so we thank you for joining together in Partnership. Thank you for your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions for the future of the Mt. Washington Arboretum. You make a difference and help shape the strategic plan for this beautiful green space. You help create how our collaborated strategic plan for this beautiful green space will grow. We look forward to new connections and times of collaboration to grow our ideas into structures of learning and meaningful experiences in our community Arboretum!

This plan was made possible by the generous support of donors like you, and from partners through the Pimlico Local Impact Aid Neighborhood Initiative Competitive Grants opportunity; made available by the Pimlico Community Development Authority (PCDA), the City of Baltimore Departments of Planning, and Recreation & Parks, and the Mayor of Baltimore.
Consider making a tax-deductible contribution to support the strategic plan. We have matching funds to fertilize your support. For your dollars donated to this Arboretum initiative, our partners will match it dollar for dollar! Let’s water our community seeds in the Mt. Washington Arboretum!
Take a minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point. If you sell something, use this space to describe it in detail and tell us why we should make a purchase. Tap into your creativity. You’ve got this.
Make it stand out.

Dream it.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Build it.
